Day One

Today I am starting my blog called No Screen Life. The idea is to record my journey in living with minimal interaction with screens in 2025. Of course, I will need to find many workarounds and creative “hacks” — the first of which is to see if I can write my posts by hand and take a photo to create the post, instead of staring at a screen while I type.

My current goal is to write a page of cursive a day, to practice handwriting.

AI Enhanced:

Today, I’m beginning my blog called Screen Free Life. The idea is simple but challenging: to record my journey toward living with minimal screen time in 2025.

Screens are everywhere — for work, communication, entertainment, even creativity — and I’ve realized how much of my day quietly disappears into them. I want to find out what happens when I consciously step away, when I try to live and create without the constant glow of a device in front of me.

Of course, I’ll have to find plenty of workarounds and creative “hacks.” The first experiment: writing my posts by hand, then photographing the page to share it here. It’s slower, but it feels more real — I’m already noticing how much calmer my mind feels when I write on paper instead of typing.

My current goal is simple: to write one full page of cursive each day. It’s part practice, part meditation — a way to reconnect with my handwriting, my thoughts, and the slower rhythms of life offline.

This space will document the journey — what works, what doesn’t, and what I discover along the way about focus, creativity, and living a little more intentionally.

If you’re curious about digital minimalism, screen-free routines, or mindful living in the modern world, you’re in the right place. Let’s see what life looks like beyond the screen.
